The Palladio Folsom

Serenity Spa & Soul Yoga

For me, shopping is about the experience. I’m not the kind of person that likes to walk the inside of the mall for hours on end.

Open air, beautiful spaces, with quality stores and amazing restaurants is much more my speed.

And that is why I love The Palladio Folsom

The Palladio Folsom

For those who aren’t familiar, it’s 700,000 square feet of goodness. Of course, it has a wide variety of retail and restaurants, but it also has relaxing public gathering places with fountains, sculptures, and beautiful art.

I recently made my way over there just for a Sunday Fun Day with my hubby.

We walked around and enjoyed the vibe like so many other couples, families, and shoppers. And of course, we shopped and ate as well!

Folsom Mother's Day

One of my favorite stops is Serenity Spa & Soul Yoga. While the hubby headed over to the Palladio 16 Movie Theatre for a scary movie (just not my thing!), I enjoyed an amazing yoga class. That’s right, get your mind and body workout at the same place you shop and eat. Heaven!

In addition to taking a class, you can also shop their adorable boutique. They have great gifts (hello Mother’s Day!), a wide assortment of candles, and yoga gear, including a line of Spiritual Gangster gear.

After a quick change, I met back up with hubby at The Kitchen. A beautiful boutique restaurant tucked into Barnes & Noble. I did a whole separate post just about the fantastic food.

Then it was off for some shopping.

This shop has so many adorable and fun pieces. Jewelry, fun items to decorate your space, you name it.

I was instantly drawn in because of the adorable dog accessories. What can I say? It’s all about my pups and this cup kind of sums up my constant state of lint-rolling.

Next, it was onto one of my favorite stores for beautiful, quality, classic clothing – White House Black Market.

You know those pieces that never go out of style? Your go-to for big meetings. Or that dress you love for special events? Well, when you need to get another of those staples, this is the place to go.

I recently started grad school at USC and with presentations just around the corner, I picked up a few items that will be perfect to wear on those important days.

Also, this weekend my husband is giving the commencement speech at USC’s Sacramento Campus, and I found the perfect dress to wear for the special occasion.

After a full day of shopping, it was time to head home. But first, we needed something cold and refreshing for the road.

Pure Life Juice Company

Pure Life Folsom

If you are in the area, definitely stop by this place. They have amazing raw and organic cold-pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and so much more.

After some serious sampling (the staff is so friendly and helpful!), we settled on a few of our favorites. And for those that make Pure Life their first stop during a day of shopping, the staff is happy to keep your raw juice refrigerated as you enjoy your day at the Palladio Folsom.

And that’s the great part about this place. It’s so much more than shopping. It’s a beautiful place to be – stress-free, relaxing, and something for everyone!
